Collin's official hockey picture for the year.....yup that's right - I've got my button! It has been so much fun watching Collin improve this year. His skating is getting better - learning cross-overs (whatever that is), skating backwards, and really improving on stick/puck handling. Not only that but he is starting to act like a hockey player - pushing and shoving - a first for Collin! He got his first goal in their first REAL game. Lucky mommy caught it on tape! They had another game today and Collin scored again - both mom and dad missed it :( ! It is a full time job keeping track of the girls. When he got off the ice he was SO excited to tell us...."did you see me score one goal"? He was so particular about the details, we had to believe him! I'm pretty sure, as usual, I video taped 99% of the game and of course missed the 5 seconds that really count. It is so fun to watch him be excited! He is still not super aggressive - he gets himself near the puck but then isn't always sure what to do from there.....however he moves like the speed of light to get to center ice to do the face off, and when the buzzer goes for his shift to be over he is almost always the first off the ice! We are enjoying every minute and apparently so is he - he picked hockey over staying home to play with his new ipod after Christmas - that says a lot!
P.S. Cyndy do you see how nicely these pictures brightened up?!! Not bad and not blurry! Thanks again for all your help.
