Although not my favorite tradition....baking cookies is a tradition non-the-less. I prefer to watch, take pictures, maybe make a cookie here and there - mostly for guilt-free cookie eating later!! This year Ella was especially excited to help make cookies. She hung in there for the long haul. At any one time I'm pretty sure she had more flour in her work space than cookie dough. And more flour all over her hands, sweatshirt, face and hair than was in the cookie dough. But she had a blast! A must have in our family are "candy cane cookies". One of the worst cookies to make, but one of the BEST cookies to eat!! Everyone got in on the action - yup even mommy.
