yellow light predicament

Here is a conversation that happened in our van recently between Collin and Ella. We were talking about what kind of things you would have to do to get on a yellow light in school (the kids start on green light, move to yellow if they are not following a rule, or red if they are really naughty).
Collin said "somebody got on yellow light today for not listening"
Ella "what were they doing"
Collin "NOT LISTENING"
Ella "were they hitting?"
Collin "NO, THEY WERE NOT LISTENING"
Ella "what did they do naughty?"
Collin "I am not going to say it again"
Ella "what were they not listening about"
Collin "it means talking when you are suppose to be quiet Ella"
Ella "so what did they do?
Collin " AUGHHH - I ALREADY TOLD YOU, THEY WERE NOT LISTENING"

At this point Collin wants to pull out his hair and Matt and I are sitting in the front of the van laughing our butts off. They may as well have been 90 years old back there arguing.
