Camping at William O'Brien

We did a spur of the moment family camping trip to William O'Brien State Park. We have had a long month of everyone being sick and being closed up in our house, keeping our germs to ourselves. We decided to get out of dodge for a little bit and spend some time as a family away from life. Ella still wasn't quite up to par the first day, so we took it pretty easy. We all had a great time. The weather was great - except pretty cold the first night, 36 degrees. We did a little geocaching, played in the river and the lake, the usual hiking and a lot of just hanging out at the campsite.

Ella taking it easy the first day. We put out a blanket and she was asleep in no time - a true camper, she can sleep anywhere.

Daddy and Collin snitching snacks from the cooler.

More geocaching. Collin is starting to get pretty good. He pretty much found the last clue and box all by himself. This time he remembered to bring something to trade in for a treasure.

Playing in the river.

Keeping warm at night - Ella has it down, she is the worlds best snuggler.
