Collin was the first one up. I thought for sure he would come in and get us up, but he didn't. He went downstairs and waited patiently for us to wake up - like it was any other morning. Ella wasn't far behind. We got a huge snowfall this year over Christmas and the kids waited even longer while daddy plowed the driveway and we waited for Madelyn to wake up. Finally Madelyn was up. It was really nice to be at home, and just let the kids take their time opening all their presents from Santa, and have time to play with each one!
By far, Madelyn's favorite present of the year was this silly microphone that lights up and sings. I'm pretty sure if we have to hear "....bibity, bopity, boo..." one more time we are all going to go crazy!
Collin and Ella finished opening their presents and we had some breakfast. About an hour later they found two more little presents hiding under the tree from santa. Their new ipods were of course a hit!
